1. Create a ceiling and dropped ceiling in ceiling plan.
             Architecture, Building, Ceiling  
                        Height offset from the floor; 8’             
Create dropped ceiling using sketch option with Height offset: from the floor 7’
             Continue sketching another line with Offset -1’ (inward) in option bar.
Finish. Check inside with camera.
*set view range if you can’t see the dropped ceiling

2. Add diffuser to the dropped ceiling.
Go to ceiling plan. CM. Model in place. Generic models. Create extrusion.
Sketch diffuser.
                         Option bar, Offset: 1” from the edge of the dropped ceiling                        Option bar, Offset: 2” from the edge of the dropped ceiling
Go to elevation view. Wireframe view . Move the diffuser on top of the
dropped ceiling using grip handles.

Add transparent plastic material. And add white tint
Properties, Material. Type “plastic” in search window in Material
Browser. Plastic_transparent. Appearance tap. Add white tint (RGB 255
255 255)
Finish.  Check in camera view.

3. Add lightings and render:

New – Family – English_I – Light Fixture (Do not use Linear lighting fixture)
Go to front elevation. Select the ceiling reference plane and change to your ceiling height 8’
To be able to see and move around light fixture, create an extrusion around the light fixture
Go to ceiling plans-Ref.Level. Create extrusion in circle shape.
Check in front elevation and move this to inside the light source and make it smaller.
            Change light intensity and load into project.
                        Family types – Photometrics, Initial Intensity
Place in plan and check in the section and adjust the locationar. Use Array command to duplicate for each sides.

Render in High quality with Artificial lights only option
