Scope box

Use Scope Box for enlarged portion of the views.
Place scope boxes in plan views only, and can change its size and position in 3D
scope box vs section box
Scope box define the extent of the elements visible within the 2D view                      while section box controls the extent of visibility in  3D view.

Create a floor plan from scope boxes
1. Create a lot of scope boxes where needed in plan view overlapping each other so that no missing area.
            View, Create, Scope box
             Draw a box or sketch a scope box. Name it as “Area A, Area B…”
                               Check the height in elevation view.

You can associate Datum elements such as levels and grids to scope boxes. Then when the scope box moves, the extents of Datum elements move together.             Select Datum elements. Properties, Extents, Scope Box. Select scope box

2. Create a dependent views for all scope boxes and place it on a sheet.
                Right click at the floor plan name – Duplicate view – Duplicate as a dependent and name it as Area A, B, C…
               Go to dependent view “Area A”. Properties, Extents, Scope box. Change from None to “Area A”  

                               Scope box shows the angled portion at right angles on sheets to                                   make effective usage of the sheet space.

Show 3D views for each scope box
Duplicate 3D views and name it as Area A,B,C.. and then set scope box in properties, Extents, Scope box.
